Thumbsparks collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no networking of its own. Nothing you type or do in the app ever leaves your phone.
When you take a reading, the app saves the two first names you typed, the score, and the result to a file inside its own storage on your device. That file is what powers the Past Reads list.
That data:
Thumbsparks does not:
During a five-second reading the app watches where the two thumbs are on the glass, how large each contact patch is, and how steadily the phone is held. Those readings are used to calculate the score and are discarded immediately afterwards. They are never stored and never transmitted.
Thumbsparks Extreme is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction, and the App Store is the only network connection involved in using the app.
Thumbsparks is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no data at all, there is nothing for us to collect from a child or from anyone else.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
